These errors indicate that some of the Internet Explorer files might be corrupted that are essential to complete the installation wizard.
These errors include C++ runtime, unable to load activeX controls, scanning stalls during install, and generic Internet Explorer errors.
Download the file FixIE.exe attachment located at the bottom of this page.
Ensure that all Internet Explorer windows are closed before running this file and note that this will work for Internet Explorer versions 6 thru 8.
Once you have executed this file, you should be able to go thru the installation wizard without error. If your issue still persists and are running Windows XP try downloading the Windows script files and reboot the system if prompted to do so and retry installation. Vista and higher operating systems already have these files embedded within the file system.
