Creating Print Screens

Step 1.  Once the error message is on your desktop, press the Print Screen key on your keyboard. 

Step 2.  Open up your word processing application (WordPad, Microsoft® Word, etc.). 

Step 3.  To open up your paint application, click on Start on your taskbar, select Programs and then Accessories. Select Paint

Step 4.  To open up your word processing application, go to the Start menu on your desktop, go to Programs and then Microsoft® Word or go to Accessories and select Wordpad

Step 5.  From either of the previous applications, open a new document by selecting File then New.

Step 6.  Once the new document is open and you are at a blank page, select Edit from your menu bar then Paste

Step 7.  Your screen shot will then be pasted into your blank document.

Step 8.  Save the document by selecting File then Save in your Windows Explorer menu. 

Step 9.  Name and save the document under My Documents or to a folder of your choice.
