Installation is Blocked

If you receive the error above when attempting to install SafeCentral Mobile Security for Android, please perform the following steps outlined in this article.

Since this application is not being provisioned by the Google Play Store, you will need to configure your device to allow installations of applications from unknown sources. This setting on your device is usually under Device "Settings" and choose "Security". 

 

 

Once you have enabled the “Unknown Sources”, “check box underDevice administration” (as shown in the picture above) you will be able to allow installations from non-Market Applications.

Step 1: If you have not already downloaded the SafeCentral Mobile Security for Android Application, please download the APK file by visiting the link in your Registration Email.

Step 2: Install SafeCentral Mobile Security for Android by clicking on the downloaded file from the File Manager. You can do this by clicking the downloaded file, and selecting “Package Installer” to install the Application. Click "Install" when prompted.
